This is a preview of a segment I named, Out of Bounds, which was a never-before-seen televised discussion in Bakersfield with a group of diverse local coaches on a topic relevant to communities across the country: race. For the community of Bakersfield and Kern County, this was the first time a group of prominent head coaches not only sat together to have this conversation, but also the first time it was broadcasted. I was able to bring together this unique mix of men and help navigate a raw, emotional and honest round table discussion on perspectives of race and racial inequality. A major topic that has been spotlighted across news platforms all throughout our country recently.

Icebreakers with the Bakersfield Condors is a segment at 23ABC where sports director Kari Osep asks a player 23 questions to get to know them a little better in a one-on-one setting. This segment features Condors defenseman Evan Bouchard who recently represented the team at the American Hockey League All-Star Classic. The 20-year-old first round draft pick for the Oilers has been a making a positive impression on the ice in Bakersfield since joining the team in playoffs last season, leading the Condors D-men in scoring.
